Here are two more aerial views and pictures of Waverley Abbey House. It stands next to the English Heritage site of the ruins of Waverley Abbey is a large Grade II listed country house built in 1723. Is has been the headquarters for the Christian group the Crusade for World Revival who purchased it and restored it in 1983. Courses in Christian fellowship are held on site and it is also available for hire for functions. Both the house and the Abbey ruins have been used in recent years as a background for films and we flew over one such filming in progress a few years ago and we flew right past it with another balloon taking photographs here
