Clearly visible in this fine aerial view of Henley on Thames is the Church of St Mary the Virgin, an important landmark dating back to the 12th and 13th centuries. To the right of the church the white building is the Angel Inn which is one of many hotels in Henley if you are making a weekend break and the two buildings sit either side of the river bridge which takes you east to the Leander Club and the Henley Regatta grounds. In this picture preparation for the regatta with the framework for large marquees can be seen.
