Pilot Kim Hull who flies most of our London balloon flights has been hoping to fly alongside the Shard in Central London for some time since it was built but since then, unfortunately the wind has not taken us very close. Our first London flight of the season on Thursday morning  was spectacular, with a wind from the north west taking the balloon and its passengers close to many of the great sights. Many of the passengers were lucky enough to be flying on the first date they had booked which is quite a feat because London flights do require even better weather conditions than a normal balloon flight in the Home Counties. We noticed a week ahead that a good weather slot had been likely and were very pleased that it worked out for those passengers who were able to take advantage of this extra flight we added to the schedule. Passengers also saw the "Walkie Talkie" and other new additions to the London skyline as well as old favourites such as Tower Bridge, St Pauls and the Tower of London.
