One of Adventure Balloons boss Kim Hull's early balloon flights was with Tom "Tommo" Donnelly in 1985 from Harrogate in Yorkshire. Kim and Tommo have stayed in touch since and on a recent visit to Tommo, the question was raised if Kim would take Tommo flying again. It didn't take much persuading to get Tommo's daughter Cate to meet up with Kim in Italy at our fellow Lindstrand Balloon friends http://www.balloonintuscany.com/ just south of the beautiful city of Florence in Tuscany. The weather in Tuscany is much better for ballooning than in the British Isles at this time of the year and with just two days to get the job done, the weather was good on the second day and Tommo and Cate enjoyed a lovely spring morning flight over the idyllic countryside of olive groves, woods and vineyards.
