Fancy doing something completely different this summer? Then work with us, the South East's leading hot air balloon ride company. Due to the seasonal nature of our operation, every year we have vacancies for full and part time balloon ground crew, operating from our bases at Hartley Wintney in North Hampshire and Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire, covering our passenger balloon flights in Hampshire Surrey, Berkshire, Oxford, Hertfordshire and Central London.

The work suits practical outdoor types, physically fit, good with public and landowners. Competence with Minibuses, 4 x 4's and trailers and ability to map read would be very helpful. Industry training provided.
You must have 3 years clean license and be over 25.
In addition to a full UK driving license you need to have Categories B+E on your driving license (shown alongside the pictures on the reverse of your photo id license) to enable you to tow our balloon trailers which are generally over 750kg. If you first passed your driving test in the UK after 1st January 1997. there is an additional trailer test that you must take to gain this entitlement. For more details Click here.

Our season runs from April to October and we have opportunities for employment throughout the season. You must be reliable and happy to work weekends and weekday evenings as required.
For full time crew there is a fixed weekly rate plus bonus scheme for the balloon crew work. There is also the opportunity to do additional hourly paid work on support activities and promotional work.
